Ioannis Alexopoulos was born in Athens,Greece in 1995. He studied Business Studies at the University of Northampton (2016-2018). Currently , he is based in Sheffield  , United Kingdom. His first steps in photojournalism were take as early as the beginning 2017 whilst he was studying business studies and working with news agency NurPhoto Agency.At the same time Ioannis  worked with the local football club- Northampton Town for two years. Then he worked for the local newspaper Sheffield Star and has covered a various of different assignments. Among others , Ioannis work has been published  in the Guardian , Metro , Daily Star , Daily Express , Hello Magazine , El Mundo Deportivo , The Times and Danish Refugee Council.
